Eons before the events of the series, Amorphous Shape indulged in criminal activities before being called together by Bill Cipher, along with the rest of his gang[3] after randomly appearing on the couch where they lived and never left.
In "Weirdmageddon Part 1," during the cold open, Bill introduces Amorphous Shape and the rest of his friends to the residents of Gravity Falls. Afterwards, on Main Street, Amorphous Shape and the other beings watch Bill turn Ford into a lifeless golden statue and taunt Dipper before burning the journals. Later in the episode, Amorphous Shape is seen playing "Spin the Person" and enjoying the "V.I.P." party Bill is having at the Fearamid until Time Baby and the Time Paradox Avoidance Enforcement Squadron crash the party. To the beings' delight, Bill vaporizes Time Baby and his squadron. The party then continues as Amorphous Shape and the other beings rejoice over Time Baby's presumed death.
In "Weirdmageddon 2: Escape From Reality," Amorphous Shape and the rest of Bill's minions attempt to leave Gravity Falls and spread their chaos worldwide, but are stopped by an invisible barrier around the town.
Despite her name, Amorphous Shape resembles an unfolded Rubik's Cube, composed of many contorted squares colored in cyan, neon green, purple, magenta and orange, five of which have eyes with an octet of eyelashes on them. She has a thin and white, at times cyan, aura and a pair of long and tail-like protrusions, both of which hang off the two purple colored squares on her body and are tipped with glowing blue tufts.
In concept, Amorphous Shape was supposed to have the colors of a Rubik's Cube. Additionally, a mouth was planned to be on Amorphous Shape's lower half.[1]
Unlike the rest of the Henchmaniacs, Amorphous Shape was not involved in the fight against the Shacktron.
Amorphous Shape is always drawn in the same position and angle in every one of her appearances. She barely moves and is never drawn in a different angle. This is likely due to her complex design.
Due to some unknown aspect to her appearance, only Bill, 8 Ball, and people on DMT can see her.
